FLoB Character Profiles - ''Past''

I'm almost done with the profiles I just have one set left. Yay~

Zarek's description isn't very brief I included the story about him up to his death.

These guys will make appearances in memories and stories Jericho tells.

Zarek:
Species: Hedgehog
Brief Description: He is the father of Jericho. He comes from a pureblood family. Long before he met Laraine, he was to be married to his sister, but refused because he did not love her more than just a sister. It was tradition to marry siblings to keep their family blood "pure", but because of Zarek's decision, his family disowned him and left the kingdom, leaving him with his only companion Clemens.
Zarek later received a letter from a king, who had heard of his family abandoning him and wished to have dinner with him, bringing his daughter Laraine along. Zarek, being a vampire, had to change his ways in order for the king to not find out about his true identity. He had to start sleeping during the night and also started trying to drink animal blood from the butcher shop. These were challenges he had to face, but was willing to change just for the king.
When the king arrived, he introduced himself and his daughter. When Zarek saw Laraine, he couldn't keep his eyes off her, but tried very hard to keep a distance and respect the king. The king knew almost immediately that Zarek showed interest [this was what he hoped for] and allowed Laraine to stay so they'd have a chance to know each other better and perhaps in the future marry and combine kingdoms.
This had definitely put stress on Zarek because Laraine was a Mobian princess. He wasn't sure how long he could hold in his secret. He was slowly starting to sleep during the day again, since his body could no longer handle the change in sleep time, but at least he was able to accept animal blood from the shop. Laraine noticed how he would never eat, but only drink "wine". She was also feeling very lonely during the day when Zarek didn't want to be disturbed, even though Clemens would be awake with her to tidy up the place.
So one late night she told Zarek her feelings and wanted to know why he'd disappear everyday. Zarek could no longer keep his secret anymore and finally told her what he really was. At first, Laraine didn't believe him, but after some deep thought, fear grew inside her and she wanted to leave. Zarek was afraid that this would happen and let her go. However Clemens, being his close friend, stopped Laraine and tried to convince her that he wasn't dangerous. He said that Zarek truly loved her and did everything he could to please her, but struggled to keep up with all changes. He even told her that Zarek only drank blood that came from the butcher shop, so he'd never mean any harm to her or the people down in the village. Laraine decided to stay and give Zarek a chance. She did keep a bit of a distance from him, but as time passed, she became more attached to Zarek, and they eventually married and planned to start a family. Both his and Laraine's father's kingdom combined. They would go through trade. Laraine's father gave Zarek his guards and servants while Zarek gave him meat and crops.
When Laraine was carrying Jericho in her womb, a stranger had arrived in the middle of a stormy night. It was a tall wolf in rags, begging for a place to stay. Laraine allowed him in because she was kind and wanted to help, but Zarek sensed that something was not right. The wolf was able to stay until he was back to good health.
During his stay, the wolf grew quite fond of Laraine, and Zarek got jealous. He'd warn the wolf to keep his hands off her or else he'd be forced off the property. Some time after, a body was found in the castle. It appeared that one of his maids were killed by someone, but it was unnatural. Her throat was ripped and she was struck deep in the heart. Zarek brought the wolf in and asked him if he was the one responsible for the maid's death. The wolf did not answer at first, but after being asked again, he broke into laughter. Zarek ordered his guards to take him to the dungeon and have him executed.
The night of the execution, there was an invasion. The villagers were attacked, and the invaders soon broke through the guards to the castle.
Zarek was killed during battle right before Laraine's eyes, his heart being ripped right through his chest by the bladed tail of one of the invaders. The wolf was rescued by the invaders, who turned out to be his followers, and later took over the kingdom and claimed Laraine as his.

Laraine:
Species: Hedgehog
Brief Description: She is the mother of Jericho. She was a Mobian princess who later married Zarek. When the wolf [Reveron] stole her away, she was starting to die away. Since she was Mobian, and the baby in her womb had vampire traits, her body couldn't handle it. The baby inside her was feeding the blood right off her the entire 9 months of her pregnancy. The 1st trimester wasn't so bad because the baby was very small, but the bigger it got, the hungrier it became and the more blood it took from Laraine. Reveron planned to change Laraine after she gave birth, but before he had the chance, Laraine stabbed herself in the heart with a dagger to save her soul. She wanted to be with her newborn son, but couldn't stand the thought of being turned into something she wasn't. She hoped and prayed that Jericho would grow up and one day fight back for his father's kingdom.

Clemens:
Species: Red Panda
Brief Description: He was a Mobian servant to Zarek's family, and was Zarek's closest friend, almost like a brother. He was caring, supportive, and very clumsy.

Fay:
Species: Fox
Brief Description: She appeared in the time when Jericho made his first runaway. They met in a village. She was a runaway herself from her own father's kingdom, and they stayed together. She had become Jericho's first Mobian friend. She had deep feelings for Jericho, but was fine if he didn't have the same feelings toward her. Then, all of a sudden, unwanted company had arrived just outside the door to their shelter. It was Reveron and a few of his followers. Fay tried to protect Jericho, even though she had no idea what was going on. All she knew was that Reveron was an enemy to Jericho, and did whatever she could to protect her friend. Reveron threw her aside and she struck something sharp that cut open her skin along her side. Jericho didn't have much control of his beast then and Reveron forced him to feed off Fay, draining her of her blood and killing her. Jericho, full of guilt, anger, and sickness, fled from the scene.
